A Bill has been introduced to Michigan that would support equal parenting time for both parents.
Gasp... give fathers fair time with their kids? Let children enjoy equal time with their father?
You bet ! And it is about time, well over due actually. The statistics are incredible and overwhelming on how much better children do when there is a father in their life.
I don't mean an every other weekend dad, I mean a parent who gets to spend quality time with his children.
Lets stop letting the children "visit" dad for a few meager hours a week and let the father play an important role in raising his children.
Let him have enough time to help teach morals and values, discipline, play, love, make messes, clean up messes, tell bed time stories and prayers at night, etc.
Why are children of divorced parents automatically forced to live with their mom and just visit their dad for the rest of their entire childhood?
You will be very angry to find out it makes a lot of money for the local court systems and local government the way it is presently set up.

She continues to bury this bill.
She won't even bring it up for a vote.
